Topics follow the RSA EDT syllabus. The standard programme has 12 sessions; some eligible foreign-licence holders qualify for six-session reduced EDT. Ask Paul which programme applies to you. Learner permit holders must not drive on motorways.

What you get

  • Structured progression through the full EDT syllabus.
  • Local Cork road practice rather than abstract classroom-style guidance.
  • Clear explanation of what each completed lesson means for your next steps.

Why EDT matters

  • EDT applies to learner drivers who are required to complete it; reduced EDT or an exemption may apply in some circumstances.
  • You build safe habits around observation, anticipation, and real traffic decision-making.
  • You finish with clear, logged progress that the RSA recognises.

Best next step

If you are unsure whether you need the full EDT package or only pre-test support, send a booking request and include your current stage.
